Centro Interdisciplinare di Ricerche per la Computerizzazione dei Segni dell’Espressione (CIRCSE)
The CIRCSE is a research centre of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy) founded in 2009 as the official acknowledgement of a research group started by father Roberto Busa in the late seventies.
The research activities of CIRCSE mostly concern the development and dissemination of linguistic resources and NLP tools for Latin. The centre hosts the Index Thomisticus Treebank project and the ERC-Consolidator Grant LiLa. The lexicographic resources for Latin built and maintained at CIRCSE include two valency lexica and a word-formation based morphological analyzer.
