The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) is a regional university funded in 1982. With around 30,000 students and 2,500 lecturers and researchers, it offers 49 graduate degrees and more than 60 postgraduate degrees. The Faculty of Arts (Facultad de Letras) is one of the oldest faculties in this young university. With around 600 students, the Faculty offers 5 BA degrees, 1 MA degree and a doctoral Programme.
Our research group, named “Emotions across Time and Cultures”, pays special attention to the lexical-semantic analysis of emotional expressions in a number of languages and varieties. We are especially interested in the creation of diachronic glossaries of emotional expressions in different European languages.
